Coach Douglas..... " We are looking forward to getting back on the floor against Leeds this weekend after having a weekend off due to London Leopards playing their cup game against Brixton last Sunday. Although the players had some time off to spend with their families I spent the weekend scouting our next 2 opponents in Leeds and Leicester. Leeds are a very well organised side and remind me a lot of Manchester in their ball movement and patience. We will have to be very focused in our execution in order to stand a chance of coming away with a win. They are a very disciplined in their execution and not easily rattled. They proved this last week against Leicester and I was very impressed with their composure and execution down the stretch and especially in overtime. Albert Margai and Ladi Brown are excellent young players who I think really set the energy and emotion for the team but they also have Medved who brings match up problems for us. Despite our losses, my team have been training well and I believe it will only be a matter of time before we start on a roll of good wins to reflect the hard work my players have been putting into getting better. Our loss to London Met was an embarrassing one on the respect to how many players they had and with also not having Sol there too. Let's just say that the changing room after the game was not a nice place to be!! But following the aftermath of that game I can say that players have looked at themselves and made decisions that will have a major impact on our performances on the weekends.
